The vindi is great, but only really shines in situations like highsec wars where mobility isn't as key and facemelting DPS is even more important.

I was referring to the mobility of the vindicator itself (i.e. being able to apply those 90% webs). In highsec, you see more close range engagements. Obviously the 90% web is very important, but I was referring more to the fact that in highsec it's going to be far easier/more likely for the vindi to be in/get in web range.

In low/null, I would prioritize a rapier/huginn/loki over something with a 90% web. In highsec, since a good portion of engagements are on station, a vindi can really become a top priority both for the web and the fact that it's already in range to apply DPS.

I didn't say it was bad; it's an all around great ship (and viable for lowsec if you have the cash). I'm just saying that its #1 spot where it REALLY shines and melts faces left and right is highsec.

TBH, not really.
Serious WH fights tend to be calculated based on how much your T3s can handle and if you throw no resist, massive sig BSs into that mix, youre just going to lose them when the enemy sneezes at them.
That isnt even counting any BS getting instapopped by dreads if theyre on field.

This is why you always see tons of t3's in the large scale wh battlereports. Sometimes you will see a Vindi or Kronos, but you usually see triage carriers ect with them. You'd be surprised how fast things die when lokis and tracking dreads show up on grid.

if youre serious about running triage in a WH you need to cross train to archon.
